The curved design with no lip to catch the paper makes it a very poor design. If you only use one to two pcs of paper at a time this is your easel. Not helpful otherwise.
Paper holders come and go and each one has its issues. But the best feature that makes this one a winner is the curved back panel. It seems to do a much better job of holding paper in place even without the clips. The top clip expands to hold legal size paper and the side arm lifts and moves easily to hold your place on the page snugly without slipping. The bottom tray will accomodate at least 20 sheets for large projects The most difficult issue with this product for me is finding the space for it. on my desk.
We liked this so much we bought more. It is convenient and tucks away nicely when not in use. The clear holder helps you see while you are typing. It expands to legal size as well as being the usual 8.5"x11". It sits well on the desk.
the stand portion(that props it up) that snaps into the bac k keeps falling out of the back of the stand when I move it on my desk. It's a shame because the clip that holds the paperwork is nice & so is the curved design. I might try to glue it together because it is really annoying.
