Did what it was supposed to do kept everything neat and available at a moment's notice. Secure clip -- but I don't know how much I'd put in it and trust the handle and clip to stay together. If full - I'd carry it from the bottom or wrap a velcro strap around it to make sure the lid didn't just pop open. All plastic - so you have to consider weight. I like the storage compartment in the lid. Great idea. All around a great tote!

Overpriced cheap plastic. The latch will pull off if you are not careful unlatching it. Not sure if the handle will hold now with a full box of files.

I bought this file tote to replace another one where the latch had broken. I need a portable file box for events to keep blank registration forms completed forms upcoming show flyers etc. The lower box portion of this tote does that job well with ridges for hanging files. The rest of the box may as well be thrown in the trash! The lid does keep the contents in the box and when closed and latched the box can be carried by the handle but don't plan on opening and closing the box often. Almost every time you try to open the box the latch comes off in your hand and you have to snap it back into place. The lid has a hinge that allows you to remove it from the box. You will be removing the lid because if you don't it will just fall off anyway. The lid has a small compartment with a few dividers. It seemed like a good place for a few pens and paperclips but again the latch for this lid is not up to it's task. Every time the box lid is opened the latch comes off the weight of the few pens causes the compartment to fall open and all the pens and paperclips fall out then the whole box lid comes off! Very frustrating! Just take the lid off and put it under the table! It's only good for carrying the box when it is closed and latched!

The quality of this tote is disappointing. The latch falls off most every time I open it. The plastic is lightweight and flimsy. I do not recommend this tote. There are others that are better made. I would give it a one maybe two star rating at best. (It auto filled five stars)

I bought this in-store at a Staples for a considerably lower price. For what I paid it is worth it. I have about 12 folders in it or about 1/3 full. If it were fully loaded I can see the thin plastic hinges and closure clasp at the front not lasting. For my purposes however (organize for a short term task) it'll do.
