I was looking for a file box that was a little more robust but This box will fit my needs for now. It is well suited for both plain files and hanging files. I purchased 2 boxes and using one for hanging files and one for plain files.

This is about the 15th one of these I have purchased. Only 1 of them has disappointed either because I might have dropped it or someone tried to break into it at the hinge area while it was locked with a small padlock. Just had to throw it away but it definitely never arrived new like that. I used them every year to store my all info pertinent to that year’s taxes. Also use it for medical records and other records. Highly recommend.
