I like this a lot but the one big downsize is that if you put anything in the top part of the container like pencils pens paper clips etc when you open the top of the files it crashes back and knocks everything over.

This manufacturer needs to look at the latch. It does not latch tightly and would allow contents to fall out.

I'm glad you asked. This is the most poorly designed product I have encountered in a long time. When I first looked at it in the local store an associate was showing it to me. The clasp became unattached when we tried to open it and we decided it ws a fluke and so I purchased it. Since I have owned it never once have I been able to unlock the box without the clasp coming undone Replacing it requires squeezing the plastic to hope to get the hinge extrusions to return to the holes in which they fit. I cannot believe that the product designers could be so clueless.

Lousy latch

I would not buy these again. I bought 3 and everytime I open any of them the latch falls off and you have to put it on again (not easy). The plastic will I'm sure just break at some point. I already had taken off the labels so I'm not returning them; but basically they don't work as intended—a grab and go storage option.
