Be aware that ozone air purifiers will degrade your cd/dvd drive belts to the point of breaking and that you can replace the belt with a rubber band. I had to buy the pack of assorted rubber bands to get one small and sturdy enough to do the job. But it sure beats buying another dvd/cd drive for $59.00 (like I did the last time). Staples was the only place that had small enough rubber bands!
I was very excited to go home and make use of my new staples multi-colored rubber bands. My ultimate satisfaction was mixed. While I find the yellow and blue ones to have excellent elasticity the green and red broke easily and left much to be desired. In a test I shot 2 of each color and Arnold the slow kid in my class. The blue ones caused him welts but the red one didn't even get him to flinch. In addition I tried using a green one to give myself a pig nose but it broke too easily. All in all if you are looking for multi-colored rubber bands you'd be hard pressed to find a better value. But if green rubber bands are important to you you may want to look elsewhere.
The only reason I gave them 4 out of 5 is that I have only used 1 size so far out of the assortment. If they are all as good as the large ones then the answer is 5/5! I am very happy with my purchase. Compared to the ones I used to acquire from the building lobby after Canada Post was done with them the largest bands are much stronger. I use them to hold together plastic letters I use to update an outdoor sign. The bundles weigh about a 1/4 pound and can have sharp(ish) edges. So far (1 month) all is well - no breakage! I suspect the other bands are the same quality and I heartily recommend you purchase these. The resealable bag keeps the rubber bands from drying out (which would cause breakage) and it prevents a mess in my desk drawer. The price is reasonable too. All in all a top notch product.
I use them to wrap around 40 invitation cards to give to host in their host packets. They keep all the cards together where they don't fall out of the folder.
