Rubber Bands have many applications and greatly missed when they run out. We purchased this particular size because it is "middle of the road" not too big not too small. We use them in the car to hold together receipts in the glove compartment in the kitchen to close up packages to keep snack items from growing stale We've even used them to open jars wrapping one around the lid for a better grip. And there's the usual office applications holding paper batches together marker pens in clusters to keep the desk drawer looking neat. We've used the STAPLES brand binders before and have found them to be sturdy and long lasting.
