who would have thought they'd stretch

After searching for a band that stretches we ventured into Staples. Our previous experiences with iron bands that weren't stretchy and remarkably brittle wooden bands with splinters and a wedding band that requires at least annual maintenance through expensive vacations we discovered the rubber band. I had heard rumors of the rubber band and thought it was a cover band of Beatle's songs from the "Rubber Soul' album. But no they actually make bands from this plant sap. A wonderful invention these flexible and stretchy bands. Not only can you use these to hold shoe boxes and other boxes closed you can use them to hold stacks of paper together and even create office distraction because of their aerodynamic nature. I highly recommend rubber bands to people who need bands. I don't recommend seeking out rubber bands on ewetube or small letter Tunes. The rubber bands here on Staples are much more useful and in a pinch can make music of their own.

I’m using the 3 1/2” rubber bands to make disposable face shields during this Coronavirus outbreak. This sized band is perfect for securing with a staple at each end of a Shop Paper towel.
