I prefer the dark brown folders they appear to be more sturdier but I cannot seem to find them so these do the job for a small amount of papers. For larger amount of papers you have to split the folders up.

STAPLES MANILA FILE FOLDERS

I HAVE USED THE STAPLES MANILA FILE FOLDERS LETTER SINGLE TAB FOR MANY YEARS. I KEEP GOING BACK TO THE SAME PRODUCT BECAUSE I LIKE COMFORMITY BECAUSE IT IS A SINGLE TAB I DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE TABS BEING ALL OVER THE PLACE. WHEN YOU USE THE 3 OR 5 TABS AND YOU NEED TO ADD A FOLDER INTO THE ALREADY EXISTING FOLDERS THEY DON'T ALWAYS LINE UP IT'S ONE OF THOSE THINGS THAT CAN DRIVE YOU CRAZY. ALSO I CAN PUT THE CUSTOMER ON ONE END OF THE FILE AND THE YEAR ON THE OTHER END AND IT ISN'T ALL JAMMED UP IT ALWAYS LOOKS UNIFORMED.

We received these folders and they are in perfect condition. The blue color is not too overpowering for our use at a law firm. the are easy to handle and a great value. would definitely purchase again!

Manilla File Folders

These folders are a litte whimpy to be honest. However they do have one important feature which is actually difficult to determine. If you are filing something for a long period of time say archieval of old contracts you want the folders to have been manufactured acid free. That means that over time the papers in the folder will not be contaminated and destroyed by the acid in the folders. The Staples folders are acid free. So though they are a little weak they will help protect your papers from yellowing over time. Staples should make it clearer on the box that they are acid free.

THE FILE FOLDERS ARE GREAT. THE LONG TAB MAKES WRITING A DISCRIPTION SO EASY YOU CAN ADD LOTS OF INFORMATION ON THE ONE LONG TAB IT IS SO EASY TO FIND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR NO LOST TIME LOOKING THROUGH EACH FOLDER TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IS IN THERE AND YOU SAVE ON BUYING EXTRA FOLDERS BECAUSE YOU CAN PUT ALOT OF THINGS IN ONE FILE. COLORS ARE VERY NICE AND WHEN YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COLORS IT IS EASY TO TELL WHAT CATAGORIES THERE ARE SO IT IS REALLY NICE TO BE ABLE TO GROUP BY DIFFERENT COLORS
