My husband and I own our own carpet and air duct cleaning business. We are always trying to come up with ways to advertise. We were having a slower season and i came across a box of flyers that we had never used. We decided to punch holes in the corner of each flyer and attach a rubber band so that we could hang these flyers on the doors in different neighborhoods. My daughter and I got busy punching holes and inserting rubber bands when we ran out of rubber bands. We drove to Staples and found this package that was similar to what we had. They came in so handy. We were able to do hundreds of flyers and had our friend hang them on doors. These rubber bands worked really well.
They basically are lacking in color and taste terrible!

I had been using plastic bags to put brochures in and then throwing them in driveways. I attended a presentation about the overuse of plastic and decided using rubber bands to bind up brochures would be much better for the environment. It has worked great.
