What can I say? Elastics are pretty basic. These do the job.

I make a nut cracker for shelling all types of nuts specially pecans since I have about 30 pecan trees in my yard. This year we had a lot of rain during the summer and I have pecans every where by the thousands. These rubber bands are used like springs on the pecan cracker. If I need more power I just add more rubber bands. This particular rubber band is just right for this purpose. I can crack and shell a pint of shelled nuts in about 30 minutes using these rubber bands. They seem to hold their elasticity over a long period of time and do not seem to go bad over a short period of time like some rubber bands I have tried in the past.
