Awful chemical smell

Ihave been using the spring meadow scent for as long as it’s been out I noticed you changed the spring meadow to cold water in the process of doing that the scent is a awful chemically smell that’s hard to get rid of I have ALWAYS used cold water and it cleaned and smelled just fine please bring back the old scent or I’m changing brands . I can’t take this new smell it’s nauseating.

Can't use Spring Meadow scent anymore

Just like others wrote, I hate the new smell since you changed the formula. It lingers on some fabrics longer, so I had to rewash them with different detergent a couple times to get rid of it. I hope you bring back the old formula then I will be happy to buy it again.

Horrendous scent

Why in the world would Tide decide to change the scent so drastically is beyond me. Absolutely no one was complaining about the old scent. Horrible.

New Scent is so bad

Smells like fish

I’ve been using these Spring Meadow Tide pods which I purchase in bulk from a warehouse store for years. This last batch has a horrendous smell like rotting fish. The smell remains in my washer, dryer and on my clothing long after the laundry is done. I’m sorry to say I will be switching to a new brand.

New scent is horrendous - Change the scent back!!

I used some other tide pods recently with oxiclean that I didn’t like and was really looking forward to going back to our tried and true spring meadow only to my horror to find the scent has changed and it’s awful!!! It’s sooooooo strong and chemically smelling. I even cleaned my washer thinking that was the problem. Nope. Same outcome and the bags even smell horrendous. Came online to see if I was crazy only to find you changed the formulary! It’s a completely different scent - how can you still claim this to be spring meadow? Please change the formulary back! I will not be purchasing more and will be looking for a new detergent until this changes back. So disappointed.

Formulation change makes the pods smell horrendous

Tide, please go back to the old formula or fix the putrid smell. It definitely isn’t just this scent. It’s every single tide pod - original, cold water spring meadow, the febreeze ones, the sports ones, the ones with downy, the light scent ones - they all had the same putrid smell when I checked them at the store It has to be whatever they added to the new formulation for all the tide pods or something. I smelled every single one.
Until they change the formulation back or reformulate again, DO NOT BUY THE PODS. If you like tide, maybe sticking to liquid or powder is best but idk if those are even safe moving forward if they change those formulas with whatever they did to the pods. Maybe it’s best to transition early to a competitor….

What were you thinking Tide?!?!?

I have used these pods for years, and I always made sure to get the Spring Meadow scent because it always smelled great. The new scent that is now marketed as Spring Meadow is simply awful. Putrid does not even begin to describe it. I loathe having to wash my clothes now because it starts the disgusting scent cycle all over again. But because I spent so much money to buy the pods, I am hesitant to just throw them in the garbage. That said, I am not sure how much longer I can stand to use this product. My guess is they will end up in the garbage can because I cannot in good conscience give these away to my worst enemy (let alone a friend or family member).
