[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a painter I used it every day. Why? I've try others, that claim to be the same, but has cost me acouple hundredd dollars. So I try no to waiste non of it. And alway's keep a roll on every toolbox. And the best of it, is that it comes in diffrent sizes. my favorite is the 1"tape. So be a smart painter and use the best!!

ScotchBlue Painters Tape Takes Out Existing Ceiling Paint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very disappointed with 3M's Scotchblue painter's tape. After only 3 days, we carefully removed the tape to find that it had taken out a strip of our existing ceiling paint (which we did not have plans to repaint). Our ceiling paint had been done just the year before. We purchased the best tape (we thought) so that we would not have any issues. Instead, we ended up with a headache and another paint job to do. I do hope that 3M will take responsibility and compensate us in some way.
We have put so much time and money into redoing our kitchen/living room and now our paint job looks absolutely horrible. It pulled the paint off of our ceiling and walls. We now have to try and fix everything that they tape has pulled off. Wish we would have never used it to begin with. I would never recommend.
I was taping next to textured wallpaper, paint seeped beneath tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was repairing a space in wallpaper where I had removed a home intercom station. I had to prime the new drywall before replacing wallpaper. Primer paint seeped under the tape and spread out into the existing wallpaper. Had to spend some time cleaning up paint before it dried on the wallpaper.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a member of the local brew club, this tape is used by many members that brew often, the surface is excellent to be written on by a permenant ink marker. The number one factor, is that it can be easily removed from all surfaces and not leave a sticky mess like the silver tape. These surfaces include, wood, plastic, stainless steel , cardboard and glass. Another great feature is it is quick to tear off the roll and apply with it not sticking to itself and getting tangled up.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our new ceiling fan housing damaged from the tape peeling paint off, also had paint peeled off the wrought iron stair rail, and it peeled wood off our base moldings. I would not recommend this tape, in fact I'll tell people not to use it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this tape on my automobile to put down some racing stripes. worked great and came off nice and clean.
