[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the tape for painting but also for other projects. When I was starting to put cinder blocks around my deck for planting herbs I used it to show my grandson where to place the blocks. It is easy to use and easy to remove which is another reason I like this tape.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to put up crown molding ourselves and paint it also. Using the painter's tape allowed us to have an easy clean up which made both of our lives easier. NO STRESS. It gave us more time to enjoy ourselves.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having multiple rooms to paint I purchased a 9 roll pack of this tape. It worked well where I needed to make the edge line between my ceiling and walls. There wasn't any bleed through and it removed easily afterwards. Only problem was the packaging caused the rolls to get get slightly damaged causing some waste of each roll.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works for protecting areas for painting, of course. Also use it to cover zippers on pillow protectors, to keep out dust mites. Like the bold blue color which makes it easy to spot.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to tape and paint an entire apartment affected by candle smoke damage caused by an ex. It didn't give me any problems and I would use it again for any project I needed this type of product for
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the original tape for light clamping on pieces that I don't want to worry about the finish or residue.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a first time solo painter having something to keep my edges nice and clean was a must. ScotchBlue saved so much time with little roller oops for this first timer. A little slip here and there on to the tape was easily removed when the tape was simply pulled away. Without the tape it would have been repainting time, frustration and more lost time. Thank you ScotchBlue!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have painted my entire house probably 6 times in 10 years times. I have always used scotch blue tape and I've used the frog green a few times, but it can be expensive.
Over the past few months, the blue tape that I have used come right off the wall after putting it up. I find myself wasting time time to put the tape back up on the walls before I can even begin to paint. It has become a pain. I wish I took pictures of the failing tape. It looks like someone has TP'd my walls.
Now I have paint up under the tape, so I still have to go back over all of my work. I should have skipped the blue all together and free hand the edges, if that's the case.
Please go back to how it was, until then, I'll pay a bit more for the green tape so i can get the job done.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
