These folders do a good job. They're actually better than plastic because they don't have hard edges and if you've ever been hurt by hard edged plastic you'll know what I mean! Inside pockets front and rear with flat metal fasteners to hold paper punched with three holes. These folders do what is shown on the front cover. I've bought them before and I've made another purchase now.

This folder is perfect for my classroom. I put clear paper protectors in the fasteners for the students' sight words and place their writing papers in the pockets. It is a perfect Writing Portfolio for them.
