Perfect for holding a certificate

Fits the paper and looks like a nice frame from a distance. Up close its a little cheese-ish but no one reads the certificate anyway. Holds the paper just fine.

High Rate of Defect

The quality of the frames is not acceptable and I am very surprised that Staples sells a low end product such as this one. 1)The first problem is the poor packaging. Two certificates are wrapped in plastic with white paper "corner protectors" attached. Upon removing the plastic wrap and corner protectors 98% of the time the white has rubbed off onto all 4 corners of each frame leaving a white stain on the black frame. It seems the corner protectors are baked on transferring the white color to the black frame ruining it. 2) The second problem is with the plastic insert that protects the docuement within the frame. At a minimum 1 of the 2-pack frame inserts are damaged upon reciept and sometimes both inserts are damaged and must be thrown away. Instead of being flat and translucent the inserts are wavy and have bubbles in them distorting the document being displayed. Again thses also seem to always arrive with some sort of heat damage.

Great sturdy certificate frams

Love these frames this is my second year using them for annual awards ceremony. They are sturdy look beautiful and look like they are leather to the receiver. I will keep buying them again and again.

hardly worth it...

Honestly for [$] each I should not have expected much from these frames. And in reality they are just very low quality - first off they are not flat (which is a killer flaw since that makes them look cheap even from far away) they are made of pressed cardboard the cut edge on the interior of the frame (that rims the document) is not a perfectly clean cut and they are easily damaged (dented/bent) in shipping.I purchased them thinking "ah well for [$] I'll give it a shot." Waste of money.The only use I can imagine is if a boss is handing out 30 certificates of appreciation and wanted to "dress up" the certificates a bit they might be suitable - understanding that as soon as the recipient got the certificate home this frame would be tossed aside and a real frame would be purchased. Or perhaps for kids' certificates for soccer or school or the like.Bottom line purchase a real frame. This one is more like a temporary frame.

Like it good classy look

Everything about these were great except the packaging they come in. I ordered some and unfortunately the "glass" part of it was actually plastic and because they were not package well each one had a crease in the plastic face of the frame. Otherwise I was much happier with those than the cheesy plastic document frames you buy at the office supply store.
