Shadow prints in Laser Printer but acceptable in inkjet.

I use these labels for my homebrew wines. I expressly purchesd them to use with my HP Laser Jet Pro (M277dw) but the labels do not feed properly and "shadow prints" the image on to good labels as if the ink is smearing or the page is not feeding properly. After multiple failures to print these labels on my color laser, I tried using my Canon inkjet photo printer and they came out beautiful, although Avery says they are not compatible with inkjet printers. The inkjet printed labels are stable and do not bleed or smear, even when wet with condensation. As there is no compatible "inkjet" label for the 22809, I will continue to use them using inkjet technology.
They were the perfect product for my product labels.

These are very nice waterproof bottle labels. They stick well and print beautifully in my Kodak AIO printer. They are designed for laser printers but I have found if I give the labels a little extra time to dry, the Kodak inkjet ink is virtually waterproof. "Smudging" just has not been a problem.

Not as good as I had hoped

I read about these labels on line, hoping that they would be perfect for the beverages I had made for a friends wedding. Although printing the labels and adhering them were easy tasks the labels did not hold up very well. Once chilled, the labels became wet from condensation. Some fell off the bottles others became soggy and the pictures were not clearly visible. I had hoped that this would not happen as they were being served at the wedding. Everyone still likes the drinks and were pleased with the idea of custom labels but I just wish the product was a little better perfected as it boasts to be water resistant.

Prodcut says "no downloads needed"... Well, trying to print just doesn't work. After several hours spent editing label saving to AVERY account, opening in 2nd computer for color printingt, just kept going in circles with several different windows. Husbands says it won't print without Adobe Reader which we don't use on this, one of two, PC's. At 12 am with no help available, at this time, am ready to give AVERY the worst possible recomendation. Maybe it's my lack of understanding, but AVERY claims its easy to use. as for quality I'll' give it 'average' since others achieved success and am happy for them.

Great way to personalize gifts

It's that time of year when I like to give my favorite bottles of wine to family and friends. Instead of them getting lost in the gift mix, I choose to use the Avery arched labels to personalize the bottles. That way, when they do finally open the bottle to indulge, they are reminded of the giver. I usually add a little message like "Cheers from the Duffs, enjoy one of our favorite wines this holiday!" I usually put this label opposite the wine's front label so if they like the wine, they will have the name of it. These labels also come in handy when I want to give homemade items. They can even be used on the inside of books to create a personalized message or place for the book owner to write their info. These labels are multi-functional!

They look very nice until you touch them. I have tried three different laser printers but in each case the labels smear afterward. (They print fine on paper but not on the label material). Wish I knew what kind of printers all the positive reviewers use.

Does not do well with laser printers

I bought these to label some home made beer. However, when printing the design on the adhesive paper it left residual marks of the lower row in between each of the rows above. I printed the same logo on regular paper and it was not a problem. It appears the matte coating cannot handle the heat from the printer and sticks to the spool and leaves marks where it should not have.
