The Benz of packing tapes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Tape is really the Mercedes Benz of all packing Tapes. The Strip is thick and the glue is super strong. It covers and holds boxes together in one pulled strip. And its guaranteed not opening up!

I've found it very easy to use and felt like my packages were very secure. I like that it is clear and I can use it protect a written address. I'm sure I'll find it very useful in the future.

Cuts Clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Scotch Heavy duty packaging tape to mail a package and the dispenser does cut cleanly.As for super strong holding power the recipient of the package received what I shipped to her without any damage so,I would say it holds.

Great Packaging Tape with a Few Hick-ups

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of 3M Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape and used this product to seal a package to mail. I had difficulty getting the tape started. There is a "tab" that appears to be the starting point, but in fact the tape ran over and past this point, so I struggled to find the beginning of the roll. Also, there is a piece of cardboard that says "remove here" that protects the cutting blade edge which is a great safety feature. However once I removed the cardboard where indicated, the cutting edge was still covered up with part of the attached cardboard, thus making cutting the tape difficult. I tried to remove the residual cardboard tab, but it is well secured, so I was not successful. I don't know if that little tab that remains is supposed to be left on for protection of the blade, or removed, but if left on, the cutting edge is blocked, and if it is to be removed, I cannot figure out how to do so without cutting myself on the cutting edge! However the tape itself is wonderful! It dispensed very easily and smoothly. I cannot tear it, which assures secure sealing. It has it's own dispenser, which would be very handy except for the above issues. It is clear tape, so you can see where you are putting it which is obviously important when sealing a seam or package edges. I love the tape and would recommend it for anyone's packaging needs.

Tight hold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The heavy duty lived up to its name. Had to tape up multiple boxes and was was able to easily secure with no bumps or seem lifting. Other products get bumpy as they are going on or the seems lift which makes you question the hold. Not this product, boxes got knocked around the the tape held up.

I’m using a roll of Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape that I received as a sample to review, and highly recommend it. It easily dispenses and does not rip or tear coming off the roll. I am confident my packages will arrive sealed and secure. Tape is not Tape: go with the good stuff . . .

Handy little gadget

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Discover 3M gave me this as a sample to review. I was a little skeptical at it's compact size compared to regular tape "guns", but it was actually more powerful to use because of it's size. I used this to tape up some small boxes for shipping and once you get the tape feeding setup, it is just so easy to use. The tape flows quite easily through the dispenser.
