[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch's Mount tape works pretty well. I didn't try to mount anything too heavy, but i feel like it's pretty secure. Love that it works indoors and outdoors and most different types of surfaces. I would recommend.

Extreme Mounting Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Scotch Mount Double-Sided Mounting Tape. The packaging was appealing to the eye and simple to open. Having the long roll will enable me to hang small or large items with the ability to customize the length. I used this to hang a speaker in my shop. To test the strength I attached a small piece to my hammer and it has held for a week so far. Very pleased with this product.

Good product, limited use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free in exchange for my honest opinion. I tried to use this tape, but it didn't work out for me. I followed the directions to the best of my ability, but the amount of tape required for the weight of my object exceeded the surface are of my object-- you have to put a certain number of inches of tape based on how heavy your object is. I think this product would work well on a larger, lighter object than what I attempted. Instead, I made a bigger problem for myself (not the tape's fault, I was using it as a hail Mary, but alas, Mary did not hail. I knocked a star off because not all heavy objects are large in surface area, so I don't find it that useful.)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Strong staying power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Scotch Mount Extreme to hang lights outside on my cinder block. The double-sided tape has held up for a month as strong as the first day that I put it up. We have had heavy rains all month and it is still holding. I would definitely recommend!

Nice tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a free sample. This is ok tape. Not the best. But it works well. It doesn’t seem quite as sticky as some other 3m tapes I have used. But it works well for hanging pictures and things that only need a medium hold. It is also relatively easy to remove from some surfaces, which could be a plus. I’m not sure how it does on painted walls, but it’s good on other surfaces. I like that it is a bit thick as well. Not much comes in the package, so you may need more if you have a huge project.

It went up easy and has kept secure for a few weeks. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to permanently adhere objects.

Amazing hold, easy placement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mounting tape! I used it on a wodden shelf and it is holding extremely well. I also used it on the back of a heavier picture frame. The tape is easy to cut and seperate from the backing. You can easily measure and cut what you need to use.
