This UPS, with the Staples brand name, is as good as any that I have had for my devices in the 46+ years I have been an owner of computers and peripherals. It was easy to set up (absolutely NO setup - just plug in, turn on and go) and works like a charm. Plus, you get a discounted price because it is their own brand. Win-win!

It had a maximum load of the battery is 360w so it can't run high powered appliances like a Fridge or fridge but it's perfect for keeping the router on for ages so I can stay connected. It'll run the TV not for very long. It's extremely handy and versatile. I can connect to a computer and get the status of the UPS which is a nice touch and even if the power stays on I can use it as a superior power strip I love that it has USB ports and the plugs are spaced out ok could be a little better you can't plug in 2 big plugs next to each other. Other than that there really is no down side to having one its useful and the price is extremely reasonable. It's a great middle between no power and a backup generator. If you have important things you need protected against power surges and power outages.

I play a lot of online games and have a lot plugged in in my living room to where the breaker would trip while playing. And if you are in a competitive match online that can kick you out and drop your score. I love that this gives me enough time to flick the breaker back on (when it happens) and gives protection to all my devices that are plugged in. I live in an area where the hail thunderstorms and tornados kick in every spring and being able to have this is a game changer for all the devices and charging up phones and tablets.

Where I live power outages due to high winds is always a possibility. This surge protector gives the perfect peace of mind to be able to safely keep devices connected as well as keep the power to continue working on my laptop or having my kids charge their gaming devices. Could not recommend this more as it is the perfect protection for those bad weather days!

While some of the reviews I read said that it was like a large brick for what you’re getting including multiple outlets and two USB ports along with battery back up I find this to smaller than expected when it arrived. It’s also pretty incognito and doesn’t necessarily stand out when placed inconspicuously in the right place. Primarily we use this for security system and Internet which can be quite nice in the summer where we live where thunderstorms and light storms can knock out power for a bit. I also love the number of outlets available – giving me eight is more than enough. The USB option is fantastic although we haven’t really had a need to use it but good to know it’s there. I don’t really have any cons to this since it’s done its job since we received it. It’s really nice that after an initial eight hour charge the battery continues to auto charge as needed so we always have a full battery back up. This is incredibly helpful when we’re relying on our computers to work. I think having this in your arsenal of any emergency is ideal especially in this very connected day and age.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Alright when we first opened this my husband was like "Woah- that's huge". However I would like to pause right there and say that for the amount of functionality this thing has it is a lot smaller and more compact than I was anticipating. Now that we've addressed that—this thing is amazing. Upon receipt after discussing size with my husband I immediately knew where this was going to live—right underneath my computer desk. I live in the midwest Missouri to be specific and no matter how much money we throw at our electric company we lose power repeatedly throughout the summer thunderstorm/tornado season. As a mom of 6 who also works from home and homeschools this throws quite a number of wrenches into my plans. My computer is my livelihood- it's how I access my kids school work and printables but also how I do my job and make a living. Not only do I want it to be protected from any unexpected surges (which happen more than I'd like to consider) but I also can't always handle when the desktop suddenly loses power during a power outage. My laptop is helpful but only to a certain point especially without WiFi. Enter this absolutely amazing product from Staples. Not only does this thing have surge protection (again must have for me!) but it also stores a bit of power to act as a power bank in the case that power is lost. Does it last forever? I imagine not (thankfully haven't had to use that feature yet but as we are expecting tornadoes and thunderstorms this afternoon I might be soon!). However it certainly lasts long enough to button up and save whatever I'm actively working on when power does cut out. Additionally it has a large number of outlets (8) which was sufficient to plug in my router desktop monitor and speaker system. I also have a couple more outlets available should something need to last minute be plugged in (Nintendo switch chargers most likely for all our sanity). The USB option is perfect for plugging in our cell phones too! Overall while this is a bit bulky I truly consider it incredibly compact for all the function and protection it provides. I already plan to get a second one for my upstairs office!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with my small home office setup—consisting of a MacBook Pro a secondary monitor and an external hard drive—and it’s proven to be a solid solution for basic backup and surge protection. The 360W of power handles short outages well and provides peace of mind during power fluctuations - and believe me we’ve had a lot of those this month! I especially appreciate the audible alerts that let you know when the system switches to battery power or becomes overloaded—very helpful for staying informed without constant monitoring. One standout feature is the inclusion of USB-A ports. I used one to charge my wireless mouse which was super convenient and helped free up desk clutter - it also charged faster than plugging directly into my laptop. It's a small but thoughtful touch that adds real everyday value. However the biggest drawback is the outlet orientation. All the AC outlets face the same direction which can be a serious limitation. If you use a bulkier power brick it’s likely to block adjacent outlets reducing the number of devices you can plug in. The brick from my MacBook takes up two outlets my printer another two and my backup hard drive would be another two if it remained plugged in. A staggered or rotated outlet layout would make this UPS much more practical for real-world setups. In short this UPS delivers steady performance for smaller systems with some nice quality-of-life features like USB charging and status tones. Just be aware of the space constraints with the outlet layout especially if your setup involves larger plugs. Pros: Reliable 360W output for small workstations USB-A ports for charging accessories Audible alerts for power and load status Great for laptops mini-PCs or similar setups Cons: Poor outlet orientation reduces usable ports Not suitable for high-power or bulky device setups
