The filaments are visible. It is somewhat difficult to cut off but this likely will keep the tape from being broken or torn after being placed in use. I am using the "Storage Tape" on boxes and then using the filament tape at 90 degree application. This should prevent a box from suddenly opening at the wrong time.

I sell on ebay and ship a lot of packages this holds up the best for all the rough handling it gets from the P.O.

Excellent for purpose

Best when used in conjunction with the clear 4" packing tape.
Very thin and prone to tearing. Tape is a seemingly incidental item that really should not be skimped on. Spend the money on a better product.

Fiberglass Tape Strong but Hard to Work
on March 27, 2013

Un-reenforced tapes were not strong enough for sealing packages for shipment so I got fiberglass reinforced. It is very strong and very sticky but the dispenser I have would not cut it. This resulted in overlap tape sticking to itself. I had to discard the dispenser and cut the tape with a knife.

The price was much lower than the competition but I used this product over Scotch Brand clear tape to help prevent breakage for shipping boxes. Would I use this product alone? No. Would I use this product over clear packing tape? Yes.
