I SHIP HEAVY ITEM IN CARBOARD BOXES THEY HAVE TO BE PACKED REALLY TIGHT. STD TAPE WILL NOT HOLD BOX TIGHT AND IN PLACE. IF THE PART INSIDE MOVES WITH FIBERGLASS TAPE EVEN IF THE PART MOVE OR SHIFT THIS TAPE WILL NOT TEAR OR COME LOOSE IT WILL KEEP YOUR PARTS INSIDE THE BOX AND WILL NOT POKE THROUGH TO THE OUTSIDE PARTS STAY IN THE BOX AND WILL NOT TEAR THE BOX UP AND LOOSE YOUR PART INSIDE. I USE THIS TAPE WHEN I SHIP ELECT. MOTOR REAR DIFF. AND HEAVY REAR SPRING. IF ANYBODY CAN DESTROY A BOX WITH HEAVY PART IT'S UPS OR FEDEX. MOST OF MY PACKAGES WEIGHT FOR 65LBS TO 195LBS WHEN I USE THIS TAPE MY BOXES GETS THERE IN ONE PEICE. THIS IS BEST FILMENT TAPE I'VE EVERY USE BECAUSE IT GET THE JOB DONE.

STRAPPING tAPE

We use a LOT of strapping tape because we mail a heap of packages most of which goes as far as the Philippines. To travel THAT far one must be certain you use the best tape available because the box will be traveling by boat for two or three months. Our confidence is placed in a product called STRAPPING TAPE. We feel it's the best type because of the fibers fused into the material. It's impossible to tear. Staples product is just as good as the major brand and costs a lot less.

We use this tape for wrapping cartons for shipping. It is strong and doesn't tear easily usually the cardboard will tear first.

We bought this tape because we are moving at the of the month. We are going to use it to tape boxes together and tape them closed when they are packed full enough. Also going to tape the paper when we rap the glass ware up so it wouldn't break tape the doors on the night stand and cabinets that we are going to load so the door do not come open during transport to our new place of residence. Use to tape the glass in cabinets so it doesn't break. Also tape the plastic around the stuff that wouldn't fit in boxes also to tape blankets around other stuff for transport to the new place ect. and so forth.
