Staples filament shipping tape is one of the Staple's brand products that is truly comparable to the more expensive brands but sells for less money. We ship many boxes each day and the contents are important so we do not like to skimp on the box or tape quality. For us reliable tape is just another form of insurance. Staples fiberglass filament shipping tape is strong tears cleanly on the roll dispenser and sticks well. Again we have tried several brands but now we only buy the Staples brand of filament shipping tape.

bought this at staples because I needed to seal a box I was shipping. I could not get the roll to start. then when the guy at staples helped me it came off the roll in tiny strips not in one 2 inch wide piece. wasted about 2 feet before I could get enough to come off to seal my package. will not buy again.

The price was much lower than the competition but I used this product over Scotch Brand clear tape to help prevent breakage for shipping boxes. Would I use this product alone? No. Would I use this product over clear packing tape? Yes.

Fiberglass Filament Packing Tape

After all the moves I have made . . . I have come to realize that fiberglass filament packing tape is the best by far. When it comes to putting the box together . . . sealing all of the sides . . . and keeping a box packed solid . . . there is nothing that compares to this kind of tape. The sealed parts of the box are air tight and waterproof . . . especially when you double and/or triple seal the main closures. The fiberglass filaments are strong and don't ever ravel open/apart . . . so your belongings are secure.
