[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The desktop shelf was very easy to assemble once the box was opened. It only needed two screws that came with it and the shelf was good to go. On the top shelf I have a tape dispenser my kids picture and my pens in a small barrel. Under it I have a stapler pencil sharpener my iPhone and a few small items. It is a good way to organize essential stuff for my work. I like the dimension as it is just about right for what I need. It is sturdy and I have put two 5 lb dumbbells on top to test it and it is strong. It is about a few degrees tiled towards the middle and I gathered it is meant to be that way.

I like the way it fits on the back of my desk so I can put important things on it within easy reach. It covers my adapters and cords from my business machines that sit on my desk. Otherwise I had no space to put the things I like to have within my reach. It the right length and height for my use. Love it!

The shelf is not as sturdy as I thought it would be. Only one side of each leg is screwed into the shelf so it wobbles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Tru Red Wore Mesh Desktop Shelf in Matte Black. It`s got a classic look and helps create so much space on my desk! I`m able to put items that I use sparingly underneath where they`re still accessable but out of the way. The top is not flat it has indentation lines lengthwise across which at first threw me but now I love them because it helps hold items in place with out sliding. Definitely recommend!

I am completely pleased with these shelves. I bought two and both were assembled with ease. Both sit properly when placed on a desk - no wobble. I got them for an off-label use. They are just long enough to place a computer keyboard and mouse pad on it. At present I am using them as lap desks for computers that I don't use at desks. This means I do move them around a lot and still they are holding together well. If you just plop them on your desk and leave them there then I am sure they will be fine.
