The backing of these pads is sturdy enough for notetaking without a desk or table; the paper never catches the pen but provides a smooth writing surface. An excellent product!

It's perfect for note taking and writing letters. And just about anything else. I do a lot of work from home so I can sit on the couch and the sturdy back makes it easy to write down whatever business I'm working on.

When I attend meetings I don't like to conserve on pages like I do with the normal pads. This one fits in my case and has plenty of paper

This pad is expensive but it is beefy and stays planar and does not flop around. There still are times you have to write something down! JM
