Very stylish. We bought this file cabinet to fit under our adjustable standing/sitting desk. We did need to leave the wheels off the file cabinet so the desk frame and cables didn't hit the cabinet. Also if you plan to have it on the same side as the buttons that adjust the desktop height you'll want to push the cabinet back a little so the control panel does not hit.
It was damaged when we opened the package i.e. the bottom was bent where the casters screw in and I had to bend it back into shape to attach the casters. There was also a dent in the side. If it wasn't so inconvenient to return it I would have done so. Moreover this piece of office furniture is significantly over-priced. It IS NOT a well made vertical file and clearly is NOT worth the $89.00 plus tax that we payed for it. This is the second vertical file I've bought from Staples i.e . the first one was pressed board and very cheaply made. It simply fell apart from use and I threw it away. I WILL NOT be buying any office furniture from Staples again!
Had to return and exchange item. First was delivered with a large dent in back right corner (no damage to exterior packaging which leads me to believe the product was packaged damaged). I called Staples and had a replacement the next day with no issues. The second file cabinet was in great condition (with damage to exterior packaging go figure!). Only issue that I feel needs attention is the handles. Once attached the handles were very loose and screws to attach were on as tight as they could possibly be. Thankfully we had some washers on hand and were able to use them to get a tighter fit. Would suggest to the company to revamp the file drawer handles or include washers with the screws to attach. Otherwise very happy with this product.
Lock doesn't work easily and smoothly. You have to jiggle it around a lot to open and lock. Otherwise good filing cabinet that rolls easily and drawers slide out smoothly.
Terrible cheap metal drawers are easy to tip over when files are in them and came with dent in the side. I had to have one for my private files so I could lock it before move so I kept it not happy piece of tin junk!
Don't waste your money. Drawers don't close properly once you add 10 files to the drawers. With ounces of weight they became lopsided. Unfortunately I threw out the box it was delivered in never thinking it would be of such poor quality so I can't send it back!!
