I have an alcove that I’m turning into a home office. There’s already a countertop so I needed a file cabinet that would fit underneath. This one not only fits: it has wheels. It can go anywhere. Very happy. I only wish that Staples had a matching drawer unit to complete the desk.

If you want a heavy-duty file cabinet then spend more money. This is exactly what I expected at this price point. It is constructed of very light metal but rolls nicely and holds files.

The file cabinet drawers only open about 3/4 of the way so you need to fight to retrieve anything you’ve filed in the back quarter of each drawer. And you’d better have your hand on top of the unit because the whole thing will tip over and crash onto your feet when you open the top drawer.
