It seems that when I need a rubber band I am short of finding one so for my personal use I purchased the 1/4 lb size #33 (medium) and it works great for me on the small-moderate jobs

Freezer packaging

I buy meats in bulk and re-package in smaller sizes with my Food Saver Vaccuum machine. The packages always have a flap on the sealed end the rubber bands enable me to fold over the flap and secure it in place so I can stack them better in the freezer.
