Long ago learning from my lessons in life I believe the world to be held together with tape glue and rubber bands. Needless to say I keep tapes glues and rubber bands stored away for daily rescue missions. Keeping your sanity may depend on them! P.S. I rated myself as a "high-end shopper" only to qualify my attempts to purchase good quality but I am also a "budget shopper" as well -- just looking for the best quality for the price like most people.
I recently purchased the Staples Economy Rubber Bands size #16 to use in a Diaper Cake project. After searching around at a few other local stores I just couldn't find what I was looking for! I don't know why I didn't just go to Staples in the first place!! I was happy that Staples had a larger selection of sizes as many of the other stores had a very limited selection and totally didn't have what I needed. I was extremely happy to have found exactly what I needed and after completing my project I still have some left over to use on another project.
How do you rate a rubber band? Well I found these rubber bands to be extra tough. They did not snap when I used them to bind items with fairly sharp corners. They are flexible and durable allowing many reuses without failure. They can be overstreched and still return to a useful size. I use these rubber bands to hold together stackes of paper in folders as well as in my model aircraft hobby. They continue to do a very good job of holding objects in place and frequently act as a third hand. When I use these up I will buy more.
