I have used about 10 bands a day for more than 10 years every day including weekends. I know rubber bands.

They stretch & compress. As for longevity who knows? They say storage in the frig. is best for the long-term in which case use them to keep celery stalks carrots and string beans neat and organized

Bands for Daffodils

I used the rubber bands to secure the daffodil stalks (leaves) after they had finished blooming. I tried that method one other time and this time I had about 80 daffodils to secure. They worked perfectly and the garden looks so much neater. They will remain as such for about another 4 weeks or so and then it will be time to cut them down to ground level. In the meantime they are looking very upright and controlled and make a much better appearance. Thank you!
