If I were allowed to give zero stars on this product I would do it. These rubber bands are great if you don't need them to hold for more than a couple of weeks. My experience has been that they hold for a few weeks and then disintegrate. Very disappointing. I know that rubber bands deteriorate over time but I would expect them to last. at least several months not just a few weeks. I will never purchase rubber bands from Staples again.
These rubberbands are strong and serious workers when I need to band items together they do the job. There are hundreds in the bag so there are thousands of uses. These rubberbands are always there to help me in my work and they as so much fun to use.
These are the best rubber bands I've ever bought. They're also the first I've ever bought. I mean who buys rubber bands? Don't they just show up in your office or your home? Isn't there a rubber band fairy who drops them off at night while visions of sugar plums dance in your head? Alas the answer is no. Eventually the endless supply of rubber bands gets exhausted or -- horror! -- they get old and die. So off I went with my trusty Staples shopping bag to buy some. I perused the rubber band section. Who knew such a thing existed? There were thin bands fat bands small bands -- oh the joy! I settled on two different size bands and am amazed at what they can do. YOU CAN WRAP THINGS WITH THEM!!! No more trying to juggle 2 doz. pencils from one room to the next. Use one of these babies to corral those suckers. Voila! Problem solved. Have a bunch of index cards lying willy nilly in your desk drawer? Use a rubber band! Office mate giving you the stink eye because your pens keep rolling off your desk onto the floor and making a sound only bats can hear? Wrap your pens in rubber bands! They'll magically stay where you put them. Wanna tie dye a shirt? Try doing it without rubber bands. Ha! Also you can wrap them around each other and make a bouncy ball. Take that Spaldeen! Trying to transport your poster on the subway? Roll it up and secure it with a rubber band. Stop spending money at the gym. Bunch your fingers together insert fingers through rubber band and stretch them out. Repeat 10 times. After a month you'll have fingers strong enough to catch speeding bullets. No really. I'm not kidding. How many times have I found myself in a predicament and said to myself "Effie Lou if only you had a rubber band." Strange as that's not my name but I digress. I'll never say that again because I am the proud owner of two bags of these fine rubber bands. Run do not walk to Staples and get yourself a bag or two. You won't regret it. Caution: Rubber bands can be lethal. If you overstretch them they can snap on your hand and cause pain that only morphine can squelch. They can also put out an eye if aimed just right. So don't do it. Seriously. Don't.
