I use the rubber bands all the time to contain my power and other cords that I use with my portable computer portable projector portable printer portable scanner etc. I also use them to contain the extra length for extension cords. These are just the right width and provide just the right amount of tension to secure the cords into a bundle without overstressing the cables. They are also an attractive neutral color. They come in a convenient palst package that has a "zip-lock type" top to contain the extra rubber bands that you don't use. I recommend this product.

Just what I needed!

My husband and I own our own carpet and air duct cleaning business. We are always trying to come up with ways to advertise. We were having a slower season and i came across a box of flyers that we had never used. We decided to punch holes in the corner of each flyer and attach a rubber band so that we could hang these flyers on the doors in different neighborhoods. My daughter and I got busy punching holes and inserting rubber bands when we ran out of rubber bands. We drove to Staples and found this package that was similar to what we had. They came in so handy. We were able to do hundreds of flyers and had our friend hang them on doors. These rubber bands worked really well.

Rubber Band Review for Staples

These rubber bands worked great and were a good value. "A rubber band also known as a binder elastic band lackey band laggy band or elastic is a short length of rubber and latex elastic in nature and formed in the shape of a circle which is commonly used to hold multiple objects together. The rubber band was patented in England on March 17 1845 by Stephen Perry.[1][2][3][4] Mesoamericans (such as Aztecs and Mayans) were using natural rubber products by 1600 B.C.; they mixed latex with other materials to get desired properties. In 1839 Charles Goodyear developed vulcanization which is used to make rubber today.[5] Most rubber bands are manufactured out of natural rubber. Rubber bands come in a variety of sizes."
