You think in this day we would never need the plain old rubber band for anything. I try to scrounge them wherever I can. I just need more. I broke down and bought a bag of the larger size. They stretch easily over larger objexts. Then I carefully placed them all over my world. In drawers in the car glove box and on the desktop area. It is great to have this simple little device handy. Unfortunately all rubber products will deteriorate in time. I will have to buy more. I wish I could find the really big ones that can go around a large box or something that will stretch to 8x12 inches. Maybe someone makes a "commercial size" rubber band instead of using a Bunge Cord.
My things always get strewn around even in small spa.ces. The ball point pens face different ways among the highlighters. With these rubber bands I can hold them in "bunches" in my desk drawer and instantly grab the bundle I need As a member of the senior citizens generation I find myself Ian fixing several pill cases every week. However a lot of them don't stay closed . Thus when taking one day's pills all the others will fall out. But now my trusty rubber and now holds the other day's caps tight on the pill box. I also use a couple to hold my folding cane in a folded position. This way it fits into a travel bag or large purse and doesn't pop open at an unexpected time or place.
