I only needed the amount of rubber bands for small jobs at home. After buying the staples package I discovered rubber bands in my grocery store. They had rubber bands packaged in smaller quantities. The smaller quantities would have been better for my usage rate. Now sometime in the future I will have rubber bands that will have oxidized and become brittle before I had a chance to use them. Perhaps a different packaging strategy would be in order.

I needed quite a few rubber bands so I bought the bag of size #33. I thought they would be the perfect size. It turns out that I needed just a little bit larger. It also turns out that the rubber bands stretch. Who knew?
