The rubber bands work as expected. They stretch and snap back; hold items loosely or tightly depending on how many times they're wrapped around. It’s hard to improve on a rubber band.

I ran out of rubber bands for a project for my students. These were a good substitute. I wish they came in this size but multicolored. The ones I was using had lime purple blue etc. but I guess business people prefer this.
