Where are the plastic rails?

I was VERY happy with item #00784 in the past, square top, and plastic rails WHICH LAST FOREVER. But you apparently changed this item # to apply to a rectangular top box without rails AND at outrageous prices from the vendors. It seems that you have moved your "Hang n Stor" trademark from plastic to cardboard rails? And to a shape that doesn't fit the prior 784 boxes? Sounds much like GM and its revised ignition keys with no change in the part number.
Pros: Stacking Strength, Comfortable Handles
Cons: Compatible with other Filing Products, value, no plastic rails
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product worked very well for sorting files at home. I loved the built in file hanging feature. They stacked very nicely and didn't take up much room.
Pros: Compatible with other Filing Products, Tear Resistant Handles, appearance, Quality Construction, Stacking Strength, Comfortable Handles

Wonderful Product!

Super easy to put together unlike most "easily" assembled boxes I've come across. Very sturdy and well priced. My number 1 choice when it comes to filing all old records.

Design Changes Dislikes

This box has been redesigned from the same product about three years ago. If the assembly is not exact it can cause the lid not sit flat on the top of the box. A crease in the end panel is supposed to create a 90 degree angle which in turn creates a flat surface for the lid to sit on but if the panel does not align to the bottom of the box exactly then this crease results in a slope and not a flat surface for the lid. This box has the side panels integrated with the exterior box structure causing a reduction of interior hanging file space at both ends because the panels need to fold inside and therefore take up some of the end spaces. The previous version of this box was a "box-inside-a-box" construction style where all interior room was available for hanging files and the rails were housed inside the box. This new design has rails that are integrated with the exterior structure of the box where the hanger part of the files are exposed (when the lid is off) and can become a problem.
Pros: Stacking Strength, Tear Resistant Handles
Cons: poor design, poor assembly style

Hang & Store Boxes are perfect

I was very pleased with how easy it was to assemble the box, and it is the perfect size. The ability to actually use a hanging folder in the box is great, as I had some bulky files to put away in storage that would have been a total mess if not for the ability to leave them in their hanging folder and simply transfer them from their file drawer straight to the box. Totally recommend these boxes!

I purchased these boxes to store invoices from past fiscal year's purchases. They assemble easily and are strong enough to stack for a small storage footprint.
