When I have punched 10 pages or less it's worked fine. It doesn't feel very sturdy so I have avoided punching larger quantities. It's different from other 3-hole punches in that the paper is inserted the opposite side from where you would expect. You really need to use it on a sturdy flat surface table.

works s perfectly well. easier than I thought to punch the holes. My husband figured out to make the hole match up with a regular 3 ring binder.
