I had a one touch hole punch for several years and needed a new one. The one I purchased is even better then my first one. It is more compact and easier to use overall
I teach three different classes of highschool students and I have to have a 3-hole punch for handouts. I had been struggling with a hole punch that took maybe six sheets and often got stuck on one of the holes and wouldn't release the pages! This new hole punch can tackle the whole pile of pages at one time. No more breaking the stack into smaller piles and then restacking it. I like the light touch that does the punching effortlessly. I also like that it doesn't have to have a pound with a fist on the top to get it to finish the job. The padded rubber feet are friendly to my antique wood work table. Thanks for a great product.
So we've all grabbed a three-hole punch at some point in time. And we've all pulled the bottom piece off and spent the next hour picking up the little pieces of paper that have fallen out and then gone back to the paper and tried to line up the holes for the binder...this is not only an easier way to punch but it collects the waste and through two small areas lets you dump them. Amazing. Wonder why no one else thought of this a number of years ago. Maybe all the baby-boomers like me wouldn't have back problems picking up the little pieces of paper!!
Seems to work well enough and does do quite a few pages at once if you can squeeze them in there but came with no instruction manual so each thing has to be figured out on your own. I have worked with office equipment for many years so am somewhat familiar with what it should do however someone new buying it would be lost on how to lock it can you adjust it etc.
