You won't break your hand trying to punch choral octavos of a reasonable thickness. The price was also very reasonable.

A MUST If you use 3 ring binders

If you buy three(3) binders with any regularity and update or reproduce the contents on a regular basis THIS IS A MUST! It not only eases the job of punching the three(3) holes but it speeds it up! I had to copy 80 drawings twice punch the 3 holes fold and place in the three(3) ring binders while at Staples and I could keep with the Copy Center making two(2) sets! The Staples One-Touch Heavy Duty 3-Hole Punch 30 Sheet Capacity by Smead made the job easier and faster! Not once did it misalign the holes! They are were lined up right everytime and all the time!

Superior Hole-Punch

The Staples One-Touch Heavy-Duty 3-Hole Punch lives up to it's name as heavy-duty! Finally a hole punch that works! It has an extra large handle which makes it much easier to depress that smaller hole-punches and its sturdy construction keeps it from moving while in use. Another nice feature is the easy to empty back "doors" on either side of the base--convenient for both right and left-handed operators. There is also a measuring gauge at the end to keep papers in place and to insure that the holes end up just where you want them to be. Very happy with this purchase!
