Plastic parts break easily

This is made mostly of metal except for one piece. The piece that keeps it closed is made of plastic. After a few years of use mine broke. It's still useful but I can't close it.

This 3 hole punch does the job as expected. Stores punched paper in tray until ready to empty. Metal paper guide stays in place good. No issues noted after hole punching 3 large workbooks for homeschool kids.

Great 3-hole punch

I selected this 3-hole punch since I often need to punch holes in documents with 20 or more pages. This Staples punch was advertised to punch holes in up to 30 pages and a name-brand unit at the same price was advertised to punch up to 20 pages. I am glad I selected the Staples one. So far it has been reliable and has punched through what I needed. with little effort on my part.
