Made of Metal!

The unit is made of metal except for bottom cover (to hold punch-outs). You cannot adjust the position of the holes. The method to lock the handle down after use is unclear although this is a "feature" listed on the box. Force needed to punch a stack of paper is low. The "$10 OFF" (BIG print) sign on shelf was two part - $5 off at the checkout $5 off by applying for rebate via mail or online (details in small print). Too complicated - customers want the full discount at checkout. Would be interesting to know how many apply for the mail-in rebate - I bet low. That's the game Staples is playing.

I would buy this product again and again

We had a big bunch of training manuals and other documents piled up in the office but with the help of the "One Touch" we were able to organize them into folders with dividers and labels. It empties without making a mess. It is very compact easy to operate. It was worth the price.

Once I determined how to open it I was quite satisfied. I believe it will be much better than my old one which developed a split in the rubber tray almost from the beginning and often spilled paper dots all over the floor and carpet. I like the smooth action and I believe I will be able to use it for a very long time. The main reason that I bought the Heavy-Duty punch was to decrease the amount of pressure required to use my old 3-hole punch. This means a lot because it is less stress on my wrist and fingers.
