Dear Key Decision Manager for Staples retail sales I looked all over for a 3 drawer file cabinet before trying my local Staples outlet. I was anxious to finally be able to purchase my 3 drawer file cabinet. It was delivered in record time IMHO. One day! BUT... the fit of the drawers was an eyesore and there was a dent in the middle of one side that was not evidenced by a damaged box on that same side. It seems to me that the damage had to have been on the cabinet before it was placed in the box. So I brought the unit back and reordered a replacement. ALAS this 3 drawer file cabinet had a severe impact crease not a dent in a lower corner. Again this crease would have caused major damage to the shipping box in the same area. THERE WAS NO SHIPPING CONTAINER DAMAGE. However I took a picture of the shipping container and discovered the probable source of both damaged 3 drawer file cabinets; they were made in Mexico. So to the decision maker for this vendor I am aware that most product received from this (and similar type products) vendor has a long history of your customers receiving damaged items which have needed to be replaced. IMHO Staples needs to bring pressure on these vendors to be more proud of their capabilities. Another suggestion: offer these damaged products for sale at a lower price in an as is condition with one replacement allowed. Or CHANGE VENDORS.

It’s a great cabinet for filing folders and records. Also the 2 top drawers are handy for storing miscellaneous office supplies. The only problem I encountered it is easy to tip over if you are not careful.
