NB: Hanging files go *sideways*

Somebody complained "hanging files don't hang properly front-to-back: the width is wrong". That is the purpose of the two black metal slats in the bottom drawer. Hook them across the width of the drawer in the provided slots: one in the front and one in one of the 3 provided slots in the back. Now you have rails for letter legal hanging files that hook front and back thus sliding left and right.
