The pencils overall are excellent to use. Writing quality from these pencils is top notch, they even come with extra lead and erasers. I recommend these pencils for all ages.

They prefer to use mechanical pencils over regular #2 pencils because they like the idea that they can always keep them sharp without having to get up and use a pencil sharpener. They are ready to put them in their pencil pouches as they head back to school this week.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my home mechanical pencils are the only pencil my kids will write with. Finding a good one was obsolete in till we recieved or BIC pencils. BIC is America?s #1 mechanical pencil brand we heard so I gave my kids a pencil and asked them to tell me what they liked. My daughter does a lot of writing and she was happy to say they had a soft feel to them and they didn't leave an imprint on her fingers. My son loved that the pencils actually wrote dark and that his teachers wouldn't complain to him. Happy kids..... thanks BIC
