[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BIC Velocity Pencils are fantastic! The write much darker than the Papermate ones we were using and they erase very nicely. The extra lead and erasers that come with it is very useful. The bright colors are fun too!

Great pencils

These pencils are strong and durable which will be helpful when my six and ten year old kids are doing their homework and drawing. The lead is smooth with no breaks in the lines. The colors are great without being obnoxious. The grip is comfortable and just the right amount of squishy. The eraser has a little cap on it which is a nice touch and the BIC Velocity set comes with extra lead and erasers. I am very pleased with the overall feel of these pencils. They feel like quality, not cheap plastic.

Some other mechanical pencils that we have used this year were very flimsy feeling. The BIC Velocity pencils are made with quality materials and almost feels like you are holding a pen instead. Love the extra lead and erasers that came with them too. The soft rubber grip around the pencils is a great addition too.

The colors were perfect and they loved the fact they didn't drop the lead out like some pencils. I liked the squishy part on the pencil it made for a comfy grip. The lead seemed to be easier for me to erase than for my kids. We just were not a fan of the cap on the eraser....we lost one literally 10 seconds after using it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Get back to loving writing again. This pencil fits nicely in your fingers and has a smooth feel to it. If you love bright things this will top them all. These mechanical pencils are bright and will stand out from the rest. These pencils came at the perfect time as the kids are headed back to school. Now they will get to try these out. An added bonus, you will no longer have to worry about finding a number 2 pencil for those tests that require a Scantron....these pencils are compatible.
