My kids are fighting over them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two boys - a 14 year old and a 7 year old. They absolutely love these mechanical pencils and I don't know if I will ever get them back to the standard #2 pencils. Their poor teachers will probably have a time, especially the smaller one, telling them they can't use them for a standardized test, even though they technically can use them since they are #2 lead. I can say that I was able to try them for myself a couple of times, and really liked them. The lead was smooth and doesn't break easily like many mechanical pencils. This is definitely a must buy.

The soft grip has made it easy for them to handle the pencil especially my 7 year old who still doesn't have the best grip . Easy to fill and love the colors . I was not a fan of mechanical pencils prior due the tip constantly breaking but the kids have not had this issue and really enjoy them.

All pencils claim to write smoothly, but this one really does. I was impressed by just how easily mistakes erase. I used these to plan out my school schedule and made a lot of adjustments". I've replaced my other pencils with these - the pink is my favorite. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5

They each got to pick two of their favorite colors to take to school, and got to keep them in their own pencil boxes, instead of putting them in the community bin, because they were so special! they have been writing with them, can erase easily, and my youngest with a broken thumb doesn't have to worry about trying to sharpen it!!

With other pencils the lead breaks right away but with these, the leads are strong and the eraser too. My kids loved them so much that they are ready to start using them with their homework soon.

I use this brand of mechanical pencil for almost one year. It has a very good quality. First, I like the design of Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencil. Even though it doesn?t has a trendy design. But I think it has a practical design. Bic American Mechanical Pencil is slim and regular length. It fit every bag and pencil case. I used a little planner in my Mission. It has a little spiral blinding. I try many different brand of mechanical pencil to fit in that spiral blinding, they all aren?t fit. Just Bic Velocity Mechanical pencil can fit in the little spiral blinding. And it is long then the little spiral blinding, so that I can easily pull out. Second, when I use Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencil to write, I feel it is steady. When I use another mechanical pencil, I feel like the lead is shaking, that makes me feel the lead will break. I like using them for shopping lists, word searches and even for drawing. I am usually not a fan of pencils because but BIC has made me a regular user.
