[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the bic velocity pencil was of utmost quality. I loved the colors they came in I loved the texture of the pencil as I wrote. The lead did not break easily. The eraser erased easily and did not smudge or leave marks on paper. I really enjoyed this product.

My boys tend write too rough with mechanical pencils and wind up breaking off the tips. So far they have used the same ones since the start of school (little over a month) and they're still going strong. Lastly, and the most important is they are affordable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are my new favorite go to pencil. They feel like a pen, so much sturdier than other mechanical pencils. I'm a bit obsessive about my regular pencil always being sharpened, but with these pencils, I can just click and get a perfectly sharp and ready pencil. I love that they come with refills of both the lead and the erasers. Erasers are a big deal for doing homework! I'll be buying lots of these for both home and my classroom. My kids and my students are going to love them...if I decide to share that is!

My teen loves pink so that was the first color she chose to use. Of course it's more fun to write with something pretty! The lead makes a nice solid line, but isn't difficult to erase mistakes completely. Super happy with BIC Velocity Pencils...teen approved!

My son really likes them I always add mechanical pencils to his school supply list. He was happy to see these since they came from school started. He likes the way they look. I will get his opinion how he liked them in school that will be in the next review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few mechanical pencil fans in my house so I passed out one pack of them to my boys- aged 13 and 18 and waited for the reviews. My 18 year old uses them mainly for schoolwork- writing and such. He has been using mechanical pencils for as long as I can remember so I was anticipating his response. He really liked it, said the lead in it was very smooth and nice to write with. He especially liked that the pencils came with extra lead and most especially extra erasers!! My 13 year old is special needs, he is on the autism spectrum. He draws (and draws really well). He had a generic brand mechanical pencil that he was using. The pencil ran out of lead and I replaced it with a Velocity pencil. He wasn't too thrilled because it was different
