[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite part of the BIC Velocity mechanical pencil is that they write very smoothly. There is no drag. The lead that came with the pencil is strong. It does not break. This can sometimes be a problem with cheaper lead. While these may seem like a nuisance for some. It is a real issue since I use a pencil all day for my career as a CPA.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids have been using these pencils for about a week. They love mechanial pencils and these are definetly their favorite. They write smoothly, the lead doesn't break and it erases cleanly. The colorful barrels are plus and another reason these pencils are picked over others. Another awesome thing about these pencils is they come with extra lead and erasers to keep the kids writing!

The lead didn't seem to break as easily as some other mechanical pencils and they were comfortable to hold onto. They wrote smoothly and when a piece of lead was done the next piece loaded nicely rather than taking forever like some of the other mechanical pencils that I have used. I recommend that everyone go out and try these pencils! They are great and I promise you will not regret it.

I do not recommend them for small children though. Pushing too hard on the erasers when erasing will cause the pencil tip to come out too far leading to breaking. Also, pushing too hard when writing and breaking the tips easily. BUT I love, love, love these for myself and my daughter. They come in bright colors they have refills for the erasers so always have them handy. I really recommend them so try it and the best is #IGotItFree

My kid actually doesn't mind school work using them. Bic velocity pencils will probably last most of the school year with the lead and the wonderful eraser. I will definitely be keeping Bic velocity pencils in Stock for this school year !!

They write great and erase easily and clear. This has opened my girls up to wanting to doodle and write much more. My oldest even shared a couple of her pencils with classmates.
