[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils. My kids love the funky colors and how they have a sleek cool design. No need to look for a pencil sharpener with the automatic reload lead. The eraser gets rid of mistakes cleanly with no smudges or tears. My kids already have them in their back to school backpacks waiting for schoolwork. These are quality pencils. The lead is more sturdy than other mechanical pencils and doesn't smudge when you erase. Thanks Bic for making such quality products

I received my bonus and surprise packs of BIC mechanical pencils very promptly from the BzzAgent campaign and I am so pleased that I did. I decided to try one out for myself and they really do write smoothly! I like the fact that the colors are vibrant, eye-catching, and gives students the opportunity to choose their favorite or most liked color. For me, effective writing begins with a good writing stencil and these mechanical pencils encourages me to write more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils had a nice grip and the lead point did not break off very easily even after pressing hard. I also thought it was smart on BIC's part to give you extra lead and erasers with the package because at some point you will probably run out and need to buy more. It is much convenient having all these extras in one package. Really liked the colors as well. Overall, it was easy to use and write with as well as put new lead in.

I usually purchase the off brand of mechanical pencils for them, so they were excited to give them a try. First week of school was a success. They couldn't believe how strong the lead was and how it never broke like the other pencil brand. They told me I better buy BIC velocity pencils from now on! Sorry boys your Mom took some of them too! I love the smooth writing feel.

He said he will never have to worry about trading it in for a sharpened pencil or messing up his drawling or his daily journal. He writes a lot nicer with them too. I think b/c he takes his time thinking it might break sooner but this stuff holds up great!

The colors are appealing and they are easier to use than regular pencils that require constant sharpening. These would have gotten a full 5 stars but the writing doesn't erase as well as the package claims.

The lead does a great job standing up to how hard that I write. My favorite part is that they are super durable. I always put a mechanical pencil in my purse (as I prefer to write in pencil) and most of them end up broken within a few days. The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencil has yet to break and it has been 3 weeks!!!
