[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were excited about seeing and using these cool looking mechanical pencils. From a boy's perspective, there was just one problem - the color selection. If I were to purchase a 5-pack of pencils, his selection was limited to just three due to the pink and purple. The only boy" colors are blue & orange. He wished that there was a green or red. Another option would be to have a pack for girls and boys. This would allow more choices for both genders. From a cost perspective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, let me start by saying I am an old fashion pencil person. I often get looked at funny for my office use of wooden #2 pencils, so taking these to the office was sure to turn heads. The first thing coworkers noticed (besides not having to stop by the sharpener on the way to meetings) was the fun, bright colors! The grip holder makes taking notes in long meetings much easier. Not to mention, only needing 1 pencil and no fear of breaking the lead. There is also nothing worse than a bad eraser. The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencil has a great eraser! No smearing, no holes in the paper, etc. I am definitely making the switch and can't wait for my kids to take theirs to start a new school year!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids hate boring pencils. They love the colors and that they have soft grips that don't hurt their fingers. They couldn't wait to take them to school.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For as long as i can remember, BIC has been my absolute favorite! They were always on my back to school list. The only brand I would look for. Now that I'm a parent with school age children, they too have been bitten by the BIC bug. My eldest daughter is OBSESSED with mechanical pencils. Needless to say, she has taken a whole pack for herself. My little author in training can't seem to put these pencils down. With all the mistakes that sometimes occur, the eraser completely erases without a trace. Best mechanical pencil out!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recieved my 2 packages of FREE BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. They are very easy to use. They are also easy to fill. My kids love the colors. The pack comes with refills and Extra erasers. My middle schooler already put it in her backpack for school in September. I will definitey buy this again in the future. #GotItFree, #BicVelocityMechanicalPencil, #Gavemysistermyothercoupon, #?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that these new velocity pencils are pretty cool. My son loves them, because he likes the outside color variety. It's nice because they'ree good colors for boys and girls, and if he decides he doesn't want to use the pink one, he can just trade with someone else. We werebothvery impressed to see how well the erasers erase. Most pencils, you have to really work to get rid of whatever you are trying to erase, but with these ones, it is so easy. Not only is it easy, but the erasers erase everything and don't leave anything behind!
