BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My students and I love to write. So we jumped at the chance for some fun-looking colored pencils! But when we tried these out, they proved more than just flashy. These pencils are amazing! We loved how well they wrote and how fun the colors were. If you're planning on buying them, though, you might want to pick up more than one of these packs - you can't get enough of them!

They are so smooth writing and easy to refill the eraser is great and just an all around great product that all my family and friends enjoy to use.

Kid and mom Back-to-School approved!

They are a hit with my kids, and are so nice that I won't allow them to steal my favorite colored one! I hide it just so I will always have one for myself! They are sturdy and well-made. These pencils are tough, and I think they will outlast my kids' and their rough play. These are great in my opinion...easy to use, easy to erase, and well made all around!

Anxious for school

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kids around here don't go back to school until next month, but that hasn't stopped these boys from using them! They have been finding any reason to use the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils while they wait to use them in school. They write so easily and are so smooth! They don't break easily either, which is a huge plus!

My little Artist Girl loves Her Bics

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So You remember those mechanical pencils from when we were kids and how they were flimsy feeling? And how the lead would break if it was pushed anymore than a millimeter? And how the eraser sucked. And also how they were not at all fun!! These pencils are on a whole new level! I was shocked by the quality of the Velocity pencil, it feels like an expensive pen, it feels more ergonomic in the sense that it is weighted perfectly, not light and chinsy!! I clicked the lead out to about a centimeter much longer then necessary to really test the claim that is is strong lead. And wrote like you would see a child write you know not softly, Lol, and boy this lead dis not break!! I swear it didn't I was floored!! Then I tested the erasers claim to see how it worked. And while I did see some marks left, that was because I dug that pencil lead in haha! Because with normal use like my daughter did with her sketches it erased beautifully! I appreciate the comfortable grip and how this isnt super thin in between your fingers like those old school ones! I also like the retractable tip, I'm used to pens, so that is another way this is better in my opinion who wants to use an old boring pencil?!?! Last point I loved about this pack of 5 pencils is you get an assortment of colors, and refills of erasers and lead. And like I said earlier the lead lasts a long long time!! So these are perfect.for tests! In fact I think these should be a requirement for testing. So lastly I have to say if you have any kids or even yourselves that enjoy pencil art work you should think about grabbing a pack of these, they work wonders for sketching, and also dark thin lines!! All in all I do highly recommend these pencils to anyone who has kids in school, anyone who likes pencils or pens, anyone who writes haha! Honestly everyone should try these!! I did receive this product free for testing and review purposes. but all opinions are my own honest ones.

Super Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the way these pencils mark dark and clear, no having to go back and remark or get up to sharpen. They have their own little erasers and they are better than the big old yellow erasers on plain pencils. Leaving notes has never been more fun than now since using these new pencils. They also come with extra leads in case you pencils run out. The children love taking their new pencils to school and doodling at home with them. Keeping them busy in activities has never been easier. #BicVelocity #Gotitfree

Wonderful Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like these pencils. They do not feel thin and flimsy like some mechanical pencils. The lead is strong and does not break easily. The erasers are amazing. They actually erase and not just smear the lead around. My kids liked them a lot too. They had a lot less lead breakage than with other mechanical pencils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well after moving house just recently and finding that the lovely people at Bic have sent me some free mechanical pencils to test, I thought, what better way to put them to the test than to draw up my new room plans with them! They arrived in a very colourful packet and I really liked the mixed colours of the pens themselves! They have a great little eraser on the end and (one of my favourite bits about these pens) they also have spares!!! Yippee! I always run out of eraser well before the pencil wear out! Well down Bic for that. Ok let's get down to business, the pencils have a lovely feel when you write with them and have a wonderful dark colour to the writing so when I draw my plans up, I don't have to press hard to be able to see them, they are not particularly smudgy and the lads are easy to replace. All in all I'm pretty impressed with these. I have stuck some in my 13yr old's bag for school but we have another few weeks before he goes back so I'll have to see what he thinks of them then.
